Other things that are important things that makes the home value very important could be refinancing your mortgage, calculating annual property taxes, purchases homeowner’s insurance, remodeling expenses plus much more.

Annually a homeowner will must pay real estate taxes on their Atlanta Real Estate. Often times homeowners must appeal their taxes due to miscalculations, decrease in property value etc. However if one must APPEAL their Annual Taxes:
Submit supporting documentation along with the real property tax return such as:
a recent appraisal of the Property
-
a copy of your settlement statement from your recent purchase of the Property
-
a list of recent sales of comparable properties.
The deadline for submitting the appeal is April 1, 2010.
After your appeal package is received, the tax assessor will review your file and either approves your new suggested value, establish a new value or deny your appeal. Property owners whose taxes are not overvalued or only slightly overvalued would most likely not gain from the appeal. During the period of your appeal your taxes will be billed at approximately eighty-five percent (85%) of their current value. If you are buying or selling a home and the seller has started a property tax appeal, the buyer should be able to continue the appeal after closing. Based on the outcome of your appeal a refund will be issued or an additional bill will be issued for the year.
